چکیده

We study arithmetical and geometrical properties of maximal curves, that is, curves defined over the finite field ¥q2 whose number of ¥q2 -rational points reachs the Hasse-Weil upper bound. Under a hypothesis on non-gaps at rational points we prove that maximal curves are ¥q2 -isomorphic to y q + y = x for some m £ Z + . The characteristics of diffraction efficiency and resolution of dichromated gelatin films derived from Agfa 8E75 HD plates by modified preparing and processing methods are presented. Using these films, fabricating of holographic Fabry-Perot etalon has been demonstrated and characteristic fringes of the Fabry-Perot effect have been observed.

Some random fixed point theorems for set-valued random operators under very mild conditions are established. Some recent results of O'Regan ([Proc. Amer. Math. Soc. 126 (1998), 3045-3053] and [Computers Math. Applic. 35 (1998), 27-34]) are improved significantly. The discussion in this paper underlines, in addition to generality, the unifying aspects of our result.

The existence of infinitely many classical radially symmetric solutions of the quasilinear elliptic problem f{u) + h(\x\) in BR, u = 0 on dBR) F(s) f is established assuming that the quotient (where F(s) = / f(£)d£ and A(s) = A(s) Jo rs 2 / £a(£)<^) exhibits an oscillatory behaviour at infinity, ./o MIRAMARE TRIESTE March 1996 1 Permanent Address: Department of Mathematics, University of Nigeri...
